The Quantity in Basket feature is found at the top left hand side of your screen and is a running total of the quantity of Items that you have added to your Shopping Basket, as well as a subtotal of the amount purchased.
This is a convenient feature if you are shopping on a budget as it provides you with an ongoing tally of your expenditures.
The Quantity in Basket is the total number of items purchased (e.g. 5 cans of Libby's Baked beans and 3 bottles of Ketchup are counted as 8 items).
The Subtotal amount does not include delivery charges or sales tax.
